Summer in Norway

Here comes a photo overload from August in Norway...

Boat ride on the Oslo fjord with Anne and Andreas.

A walk around Brønnøya with Mamma and Daddy.

Mamma and I went raspberry picking and made homemade raspberry jam. Yum!

Another hike with Mamma and Daddy.

Bike-ride with Bestefar.

 3 hour hike with Bestefar

Dinner with my high school besties!

Corn picking.

And... flying over Greenland on my way back to DC. The prettiest view I've ever seen from the air!

Hvaler - Part 1

Mamma, Daddy, David and I spent a week at a cabin by the ocean for a week. Although we were a little unlucky with the weather, we still had a really nice trip.

Sunday

Monday

Rain, rain, rain. We managed to stay dry on a nice walk though.

We spent a lot of time inside watching the Olympics.

Tuesday

We picked Daddy up at the train station (he had been in Edinburgh) and we drove to Strømstad, Sweden.

Wednesday

A hike around the Island. This is Hvaler church, which originally dates from 1000/1100 AD.

We picked wild blueberries, mushrooms, raspberries and cranberries. Yum.

Daddy and David even went for a swim.

We ended the day with Daddy's homemade hamburgers.

Beautiful view from the cabin.

Sorry for the photo overload, it was so difficult to narrow it down.
I'll post Part 2 tomorrow.
