Maternity Photos

We had maternity photos taken at 32 weeks. It may seem a little frivolous to do maternity photos, but I just really wanted to capture David and I with the belly. Just how we are right now. Almost parents and so excited.

My belly was a little small for photos, so we had to work really hard at making it look bigger. It was a beautiful Arizona afternoon and I think we got some really special shots. I'll treasure these forever.

In the last photo I'm wearing my Grandmother Carolyn's nightgown.

The Best Gift

I think it's safe to say that I have the best Daddy in the whole world!
He surprised me with a cradle he made for the baby.

Can you believe he made this?

We are going to paint it white and then ship it to Arizona.
I can't wait to put baby boy in a cradle made for him by his Grandpa Rick!

Nursery Inspiration

I am having so much fun planning baby boy's nursery!
I've been finding a ton of inspiration on Pinterest. Seriously, what did we do before Pinterest? Once I get back from my Norway trip, David and I are planning a trip to Ikea to get the remaining furniture and operation nursery will be in full swing.

Here are some of the pictures I'm using for inspiration...

I can't wait to see it all come together!
